Finding family: Getting your genealogy going

Beginning your family history research? This course is for you! Covering the basic concepts of finding information and recording what you find, setting goals, avoiding confusion, and identifying some key resources for your searching; you will soon be prepared to start your family history journey. There will be opportunities to create working pedigree charts and family groups sheets. Attendees are encouraged to bring along a laptop or tablet to try activities and to explore resources. Bring any information you have to use in activities. Presented by Ben Hollister. BYO lunch.
